Yankee Candle joins Las Vegas Gift + Home Market: Yankee Candle will be participating in the inaugural Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market, slated for Aug. 2-6 at World Market Center Las Vegas. Located in C-501-68, Yankee Candle joins an growing list of new suppliers making their Las Vegas debut and join a selection of 200-plus accessory and gift exhibitors. The Gift + Home Market will include an expanded array of products for every gift category and comprise more than 50,000 square feet of space. “Yankee Candle is excited to be an integral participant at the new Gift + Home being held at Las Vegas Market,” said, Mike Thorne, president of wholesale. “We are confident that the new Las Vegas venue is a convenient and appropriate location to showcase America’s Best Loved Candle to our existing and new potential customers from the West Coast. “We have re-built our gift business over the last 18 months with new specialty products, services and programs in place and we are seeing our efforts pay off,” he said. “Our goal is to accommodate the many different needs of gift retailers in the varied geographic areas of the country and help them achieve their revenue and profit goals while providing best in class customer service.” Source: www.homeaccentstoday.com
Yankee Candle joins Snapretail program: Yankee Candle will participate in the Snapretail Trafficbuilder program. “Yankee Candle continues to work hard, investing in products and programs that deliver profitable results for our dedicated customers. One key growth strategy is to help our wholesale customers effectively drive traffic and market our products through new media and email marketing. SnapRetail will provide an easy way for our customers to do that,” said Mike Thorne, Yankee Candle’s president of wholesale. More than 75 leading vendors have signed up to participate in the Trafficbuilder program which launches in June.
